After years of teaching and many students always asking for something to be written down so they can practice at home, I've put an ebook together that will be accessible for all students, new and experienced, to have a practice at home.
A few of the people I've worked with don't live anywhere near a Critical Alignment teacher, this book will be a guide to take them through a safe practice and begin to explore their body, movements and mind in a Critical Alignment practice with the soft props. The soft props being the Black Strip, the Felt Pad and the Big Black Block.
While this book is not an academic text, it is one that hopefully is easy to follow for anyone interested; with a straight-forward approach and small side notes and anatomy tidbits that are helpful for the visualizations.
There are so many therapies and options out there for dealing with chronic and acute pain in the spine, shoulders, neck and hips; thank you for taking the time to learn about Critical Alignment. I do hope that it helps you in your life as much as it has helped me!
I do plan in the future to add audio for the exercises as well as a few videos. In the meantime... enjoy your practice and the benefits of bringing more awareness into your life.
